Books, Courses, Articles, Reports, Audios and Videos
Your Source of Expert Knowledge
Here is where you’ll find books, courses, articles, reports, audios and videos. Some are for sale and some are free downloads. The ones for sale may be from Amazon or directly from me.
Many of the offerings here are classics. That means they probably deal with pre-Internet marketing and although, some of it may seem dated to you, remember that copy is copy. Words that sell in a sales letter and most of the techniques used are just as applicable to Interweb sales pages, email and all forms that use WORDS to promote something, including audio and video.
The translation from mail order, direct mail, space ads and other forms of promotion in the pre-Internet age to the Interweb age is pretty obvious. In direct mail you needed a mailing list and the best one was filled with people who have bought from you in the past. In the Interweb age, you still need a mailing list and the best one still needs to be filled with people who have bought from you before, only it needs to reside on your autoresponder rather than with your mailing list company.
A few principles are not directly translatable and others are difficult to translate but, thankfully, they are in the minority. Color, for example, is no longer a financial issue. We get that free with the Interweb. It used to cost a lot more when you had to get your mailing piece or ad in color and that could mean the difference between success and failure, even though color pretty much always pulled better.
As for principles that have no translation, they are too in the minority. Security and WordPress are a couple examples and as you can see these are not really related to copywriting and promotion as they are to technical issues.
